This set of 2 biscotti (beige) Calphalon potholders is made with 100% heavy weight cotton twill. This stain resistant fabric is covered with silicone for great grip control and is heat resistant up to 500°. The pot holder shape provides the right amount of protection without extra bulk and can be used with a right or left hand. Silicone treated fabric allows for great grip control when handling heavy pots and pans and is highly flexible, breathable and tear resistant. Each beige pot holder measures 10 inches long and 6 inches wide. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low and remove immediately from the dryer.

Very pretty and easy to use. These potholders fold over for better grip without a lot of "extra" holder to catch on fire or get caught on something. Highly recommend.

Burnt my hand using to get pan out of oven. No I did not toss them. Silly me got burnt twice more using them! Not heat resistant!

After reading the other reviews I purchased these Calphalon Potholders in apple green. And I must say, they really are the best potholders I've ever had, and I have had quite a few. Better than the oven mitts they replaced!

These potholders look better than they work. While they do live up to their claim to be extremely heat proof, and they're affordable, they're very difficult to use. They're flexible enough but you can't get a good grip on pans, casserole dishes, etc. to remove then from the oven. Perhaps if they had a pocket to put your hand in they'd work better. For now I only use them as "hot plates" because they just don't work well for retrieving objects from hot ovens or stove tops.

These are pretty, they grip well, and they are perfect for both classicists looking for an upgrade to the whole grab-hot-things-with-a-towel approach and for those with smaller hands. Have em in blue too!
