I've used Calphalon for years, previously the non-stick collection. Those pans were nice, but had to be hand-washed. And, the non-stick lasted, but it does have a shelf life. I've been switching to the Calphalon stainless steel pans, and I love them. This griddle is easy to use, heats well and cleans so easily.

This griddle is more than heavy enough to conduct heat properly while being light enough for my slightly arthritic hands to handle safely. I have a ceramic cooktop and the manufacturer recommends only stainless, copper or glass cookware. It was difficult to find a griddle for pancakes, particularly for a reasonable price, and this griddle fills the bill nicely. It cleans up easily with hand washing but comes out nicely when put through the dishwasher.

I would deal with the vendor directly next time - they did a good job but my orders were split and the Amazon Bonus offer never came through - i call that false advertising. the pan is fine and worth the money and I am careful to heat and cool it slowly to avoid any chance of warping
