Wooden spoons seem like such an easy item to purchase, but I've thrown away a dozen of them because they're so poorly designed. These spoons, from Calphalon, are finally EXACTLY what I've been looking for. They have nice, deep bowls for ladling, sturdy, easy to grip handles, and edges that are fine enough for cutting through soft ingredients, without being fragile enough to chip or splinter. Maybe I'm too picky, but it's taken me a long time to find wooden spoons worth buying. And these are those.
